Booking Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions form the basis for the contract between you and Lulworth Outdoors so please read them very carefully.

Cancellation and Payments

Your booking is only confirmed and secured once paid in full through our booking system.

Group bookings (corporate, youth groups, schools etc) will require full payment to be received 14 days prior to the date of your booking as per our invoicing terms.

If we have cancelled your activity for whatever reason, you will be offered the option of an alternate date or a full refund.

If you are cancelling your activity then the following applies:

  • More than 3 months – Full refund minus £5 administration fee per participant.
  • 2 – 3 months – 75% refund minus £5 administration fee per participant.
  • 1 – 2 months – 50% refund minus £5 administration fee per participant.
  • Less than a month – No refund given.

Being on the coast makes us very susceptible to changes in the weather, therefore on the odd occasion we may have to cancel an activity.

If this happens we will happily move your booking to an alternate date, offer you an alternative activity, or provide you with a full refund if the first two options aren’t acceptable.

Insurance and Safety

All participants must follow all safety instructions from the instructors, failure to comply with this may result in your removal from the activity or the whole activity being cancelled. No refund shall be issued in this instance.

Lulworth Outdoors is covered by public liability insurance, supplied through Activities Industry Mutual. This policy does not cover you for accidental injury so it is recommended that you take out your own personal injury insurance.

Medical Information and Consent

All participants must acknowledge the risks involved with the activities they are due to undertake. Relevant medical information must be disclosed prior to the activity; failure to inform Lulworth Outdoors of any relevant information will be treated as misconduct by the individual who may be removed from the activity. Parents/guardians should disclose this information for under 18 year olds. If you would like to discuss this you should call the office 01929 400155.

Drugs and Alcohol

Anyone suspected of being under the influence will be declined participation and no refund will be issued.

Camera’s and Personal Belongings

Coasteering:
Action camera’s e.g. GoPros are only permitted if they are chest or helmet mounted. Any restriction in being able to move around the site effectively (i.e. handheld cameras) are not permitted as they limit the participants capability to hold onto the rocks effectively. Smartphones in waterproof cases are not suitable.

Kayaking:
A smartphone in a waterproof case is suitable for this activity, however it is advised to also store this in a dry bag, as Lulworth Outdoors cannot be held responsible for phones in unsuitable cases getting wet in the case of capsizing.

Land based activities:
Cameras and phones are generally fine for these activities (e.g. bushcraft, archery) as long as they don’t interfere with the safety or enjoyment for others.

All personal belongings are the responsibility of the clients. There are secure locked areas within the premises, however it is advised that anything of financial and/or personal value not be brought along where possible. Lulworth Outdoors cannot be responsible for any loss of client’s personal belongings.
